🌻 Talk about a sunflower with a story! 🌻

Our staff always love a challenge during visits, and this week Sarah Jane had quite the task on her hands! She helped a mum secure her very heavy sunflower using a hula hoop and a fence post so that they could showcase this truly spectacular bloom. 🌻💛

The sunflower was lovingly grown by the family from a seed on their windowsill — and unbelievably, it has 20 heads on one single stalk! 😲🌻

We definitely felt something this special deserved to be put on display!

School may be out, but we're not! 🌞💜

While the backpacks are packed away and the alarm clocks are having a well-earned rest, the Home-Start Birmingham South team is still here all summer long!
