Tonight our explorers continued their community work by helping to clean up areas of Kings Heath including, Albert Road Park and parts of the High Street. A good amount of litter picked up off the streets this evening!

💜 WALKING WITH LILY: 20 MILES FOR LUPUS 💜

One of our Explorers, Lily, lives with lupus. She is now using her own experience to help others understand this often-hidden condition and raise vital funds for LUPUS UK.

On 19th–20th September, Explorers from Kings Heath and Foresters will stand alongside Lily and walk approximately 20 miles through the Malvern Hills over two challenging days.

A huge thank you to Ackers Adventure for hosting Kings Heath ESU, Foresters ESU and St Anne's ESU for an awesome canoeing session last night. Plenty of laughs, teamwork, and new skills learnt along the way! 💪

Had some phenomenal work completed at the 96th Birmingham Scout Hut today by an AXA Birmingham Corporate Volunteer Day team. They have done some much needed and brilliant landscaping in our car park and garden as well as a complete renovation of our storage cupboards with brand new shelving being built and all of our equipment having a proper sort out.

Phenomenal work done and thank you very much for giving up some of your volunteering day allowance to support 96th Birmingham and Cole Valley South Scouts.

The first tents and marquees are officially up… and we’re getting ready for a warm and fun filled weekend! ⛺🔥

The site is starting to take shape ahead of this weekend’s DofE Training and Gold Expedition. There’s still plenty to do, but it’s always great to see everything coming together!

Wishing all of our participants the best of luck as they prepare to take on the challenge — we can’t wait to see what you achieve 💪🌍
