young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

We also provide support to parents and carers through coffee mornings, workshops, signposting and our online forum.

Yesterday, our MOOS members enjoyed a VIP bowling experience, spending time together, having fun and showing off some impressive bowling skills!

Afterwards, some of the young people headed over to the Sing Pod, where they had the chance to take centre stage and belt out some of their favourite songs in their own private booth.

Another fantastic activity and a great opportunity to spend time with friends, old and new.

It’s been a busy morning!

Today we’re at Birmingham Newman University for their Careers Fair, sharing information about the work we do and the opportunities available for students to get involved with our programmes supporting SEND families.

There are so many ways students can get involved whilst gaining valuable experience and being part of something that has a real impact on the lives of SEND young people and their families.

It’s been a high energy week one for both our carers and young people, with plenty of fun, movement and a few sweaty brows along the way!

On Tuesday, some of our amazing Parent Carers joined us for an exclusive spin class with the fantastic Hayley from b31_spin_cic at Nuffield Health (Birmingham Rubery)

A huge thank you to Hayley for such an upbeat session — it certainly got the blood flowing and the endorphins going! 🙌

Then this morning, it was the young peoples turn… along with a few brave Parent Carers who bounced their way into the weekend at bouncemania.uk

From spinning to bouncing, we’ve been keeping everyone moving this week!

Here’s to a fun-filled weekend — well deserved after all that !

EPIC headed to Splash House last night for an exclusive game of Splash Battles.

Armed with UV paint guns, ponchos and goggles, our members enjoyed an evening of laughter, friendly competition and colourful chaos!

From dodging paint splats to covering friends in UV paint, everyone threw themselves into the action and had a fun time.

The T-shirt design fun continued this week at MOOS after being such a hit at Youth Club!

Everyone enjoyed creating their own unique designs, and for once the adults couldn't resist joining in too!

We've included some photos of the finished masterpieces... can you spot which T-shirt was designed by one of the adults!? 🤪

A special mention has to go to everyone's patience and perseverance. It turns out that even two irons weren't enough for this creative bunch, and the iron-on transfers were a little more reluctant to stick than we anticipated!

Despite a few battles with the equipment, everyone stuck with it and produced some fantastic designs. Well done all, and thank you for making it such a fun session! ❤

A massive thank you to the Harry Payne Foundation (via Heart of England Community Foundation) for awarding us £1,500!

For the first time since Youth Club began almost four years ago, we’re able to pay our leaders for delivering the sessions. This is a huge milestone for us and recognises the commitment and care they bring to supporting young people with SEND.

We’ll soon be recruiting new volunteers to help increase our capacity meaning more young people can benefit from the sessions each fortnight.

An exciting time for Youth Club, and we’re so grateful for this support ❤

It’s been a double whammy of adventures for our MOOS group this week!

Our first trip took us to the Sea Life Centre, where the young people enjoyed a calm, sensory friendly visit. They made friends with penguins and learnt fun facts about the underwater world.

Next up we headed to our monthly exclusive at Revolution Gymnastics, where everyone burned off plenty of energy, bouncing on trampolines, diving into the giant foam pits and racing each other down the tumble lanes.

Two brilliant sessions, two very different experiences, and lots of happy, tired faces ❤

Last night’s Youth Club turned into a mini fashion studio! The group used fabric pens, stencils, iron‑on badges and heat‑transfer stickers to create their own personalised T‑shirts and honestly, and the results were absolutely brilliant!

As always, we were blown away by their imagination, every single T‑shirt was completely unique and reflected each young person’s personality, style and flair.

Such a good session with amazing results.

✨ Some of the highlights from last week! ✨

🐑 Our MOOS group were due to visit the Back to Backs in Birmingham, but unfortunately the visit was cancelled at the last minute due to staffing issues.

Never ones to let a change of plan stop the fun, we called on our friends at woodgate_valley_farm and they welcomed us with open arms! 🐐

A few of our young people had a brilliant time exploring the farm, meeting and feeding the animals and enjoying the outdoors. And, of course, no trip is complete without heading to the play area for some fun on the slide now that it's back! 🙌

🍽️ Our Dads group also enjoyed a trip out for some food at copperfoxgrill — another firm favourite with the men, and judging by these pictures, you can definitely see why!

Good food, good company and no explanations needed.

Creating opportunities for our young people, dads and families to connect, have fun and simply enjoying being with people who get it is all part of how we support children and families of children with additional needs and disabilities.

Another week, another set of memories made! 💫
