It’s nice to get out of the office every now and then and get in the thick of it all. We were extremely low on volunteers at our Warehouse session today, and with amazing donations coming in from Salts Healthcare, Tesco Witton, Sainsburys Mere Green, Sainsburys New Oscott, a large Sainsbury's online delivery and purchased items from Aldi. All weighing in at an incredible 509.01kg for us to process. The small team were on it and worked really well together, we managed to finish up before 2pm which is fantastic. I really enjoyed my time with the team, thanks for the laughs everyone 💚

Best person for the job!

☺️ I'm proud to be appointed as the Independent Chair of the Nechells Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board. I want to make sure that we deliver on the funding we have been given.

🤝 Very much looking forward to working with Cllr Mansuur Ahmed and Shabana Mahmood MP, board members and residents. I know that by working together, we will make a positive change to our community.

💚 Wanting to support our Foodbank but not sure how? 💚

We are currently unable to provide coffee to single clients. We just do not have the funds available to keep purchasing it, we recently spent £500 and they have all gone.

There are three brands all 100g which is an ideal size for our clients. If you happen to be shopping and spot them available and would like to purchase some, we would be extremely grateful for your support. They are Tesco Stockwell, Morrisons SAVERS and ASDA Instant Coffee. Others may be available elsewhere!

Our summer BBQ, to thank our ANFB volunteers for giving up their time to run the sessions and warehouse, plus pick ups, collections, admin, drivers, finance, fund raising. For donating goods and food, etc etc. Not forgetting the sterling work of our Project Manager Suzi who recently celebrated a big birthday!! Thank you all, you are amazing!
