A sponsored woodland walk and fun day in Birmingham to help Birmingham Women's Hospital Charity raise funds to build Woodland House, a safe haven for recently bereaved parents. Birmingham Women's Hospital cares for over 2,000 grieving mums and dads every year who have lost a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death. Every loss is a devastating and uniquely personal experience, but at

the moment the space in which their expert bereavement midwives have to hold heartbreaking conversations doesn’t reflect the significance of each family’s loss. It will be a brand-new, purpose-built, centre away from the hustle and bustle of the main hospital, where families can spend time together in safe, secure and serene surroundings before they feel ready to face the world again. Birmingham Women's Hospital Charity needs to raise £3.5million to make Woodland House a reality. We aim to raise £5,000 through At Your Pace, a sponsored walk and fun day at Woodgate Valley Country Park in south west Birmingham. Help us reach our fundraising target by getting sponsored for a walk of your choosing (3km, 5km, 10km)! If you raise a minimum of £20 in sponsorship through our JustGiving page you will receive 5 free raffle tickets on the day! To make your own sponsorship page to share with friends and family, just visit our JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/teams-creation/join/82a855a0-10b1-4a26-b6c1-6eb7de1f8cd6. There will also be live music, food and drink, a raffle, a treasure hunt, woodcraft, yoga, massage and other activities on offer suitable for all ages! Entry tickets are just £5 and family tickets are available for 2 adults and up to three children (3-17 years) for £15. Children aged 2 and under are free. All ticket sales go towards our fundraising. There is some parking available but we encourage anyone who can to arrive by foot, bike or public transport. Toilets, including those for wheelchair users, will be available.
