From the Morrisons Foundation.

🎉 We are absolutely thrilled to share we;ve awarded a grant to the amazing Mersey Weaver Scouts to fund a brand-new, fully equipped kitchen! 🏕️🍳

This new kitchen will be a hub where young Scouts can learn essential life skills, build teamwork and reslience as well as supporting other local community groups that use the centre.

We’ve become the first UK supermarket to add cancer warning signs to nine of our own-brand bath and shower products in store and online.

This new initiative will feature labels with advice on being body aware and knowing the signs of cancer. While washing, customers will be encouraged to check for:

New lumps or swelling
Changes to the skin
Unexplained bruising, aches, or pain

Stacey from our Corby store has supported the launch by sharing her story:

She first noticed a lump in her armpit in 2019 but thought she was too young for it to be anything worrying. Today we welcomed year 10 students from Waseley Hills High School.
GCSE Food technology, so our lovely fishmonger Mac with some hands on help from some students filleted and gutted fish👏.
Lots of questions were asked, jellied eel was bravely tried by one student 👏 and a lovely morning hopefully had by all. Thank you for your visit.
