Friends of Pitts Wood

Friends of Pitts Wood Pitts Wood (known locally as ‘The Spinney’) is a hidden ancient woodland in Overdale Road, Quinton adjoining Woodhouse Primary Academy.

The site, which is owned by Birmingham City Council, is a relatively small remnant of a much larger woodland.

Hi folks!

Our volunteers will be in the Wood tomorrow from 10:00 - 12:00 doing a bit of clearing and tidying. If you're not up to much, we'd love for you to join us!

🌳🙌 Volunteering Tomorrow 🙌🌳

Hi everyone!

Sorry it's been a while, but the volunteers are rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck into it again. If you fancy giving us a hand tidying the wood, we'll be there from 10:00 - 12:00.

Gloves and a decent pair of boots/wellies are recommended. We've got all the other equipment on hand ☺️.
