Friends of Pitts Wood

Friends of Pitts Wood Pitts Wood (known locally as ‘The Spinney’) is a hidden ancient woodland in Overdale Road, Quinton adjoining Woodhouse Primary Academy.

The site, which is owned by Birmingham City Council, is a relatively small remnant of a much larger woodland.

Hi folks!

Our volunteers will be doing some work in Pitts Wood this Saturday. If you have a pair of gardening gloves and fancy helping keep our beautiful wood tidy, come on along.

The Wood will be open from 10:00.
