We’re delighted to announce the launch of a brand-new Old Film Night at Weoley Hill Village Hall, starting on Saturday, 25 April 2026.

The first film will be the classic 1942 Sherlock Holmes mystery: Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon

Join us for an evening of nostalgic entertainment as we step back in time with Basil Rathbone’s iconic portrayal of the world’s greatest detective. Expect plenty of intrigue, clever twists, and that wonderful golden-age Hollywood atmosphere.

Time: 8:00 PM
Venue: Weoley Hill Village Hall
This is a relaxed “pay as you feel” event. Any profits from the evening will be donated to a local charity.

You are welcome to bring your own comfy chair if you’d like, or simply use one of the hall’s chairs.

Tickets are now available for the 2025 Weoley Hill Bonfire. It is on the 1st November at Weoley Hill Village Hall.
Tickets can be purchased at the following times and places:
- Weoley Hill Village Hall
Wednesdays between 18:00 and 19:00
Saturdays between 10:00 and 11:00.
- Shenley Court Hall
Tuesdays between 10:00 and 14:00
- Online at https://weoley-hill-village-hall.sumupstore.com/
For collection from address on Fox Hill (B29 4AG) Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 19:00

Advanced ticket prices are Adults £8, Children £3 and 2s and under are Free (but they need a ticket). No admittence to unaccompanied children.

BBQ and Refreshments are available (Cash Only)

Please note that no hi-viz jackets, sparklers or own fireworks are allowed on site.

You can purchase tickets for the Bonfire here and collect from 1 Fox Hill, between 9am and 9pm Monday - Friday, or from the Village Hall on Wednesday 6pm - 7pm or Saturday 10am - 11 am.
