Stirchley Community Market report: £141.50 total sales today.

Bittersweet news: we’re not sure whether we’ll be back at Stirchley Community Market, as Forever Lida’s founder Iryna Sheyko is moving to Gloucestershire, and the logistics of regular markets are becoming too difficult to manage.

That said, we hope to still organise and participate in events, just not on a regular basis.

We’ve now raised over £3,800 towards our pickup truck fund, but we’re still a long way from our £7,500 goal.

The pet food we collected in March is still at our warehouse. Due to fuel prices, we haven’t been able to find a free ride to Ukraine, so the truck will be filled with humanitarian aid and pet food. Join the fundraising team!

We’ve had two more markets in 2026 that we only featured in stories, but they deserve a little photo dump!

Thank you all for coming to our stand at Moseley Farmers’ Market (31/1, sales total £186) and Kings Heath Farmers’ Market (7/2, sales total £208). We are currently raising money to purchase a pickup truck for the frontline in Ukraine.

And we also have huge news: we are coming to CRUFTS 2026 - the biggest dog show in the world! See you there in a couple of days!

A mini-report from Saturday’s Moseley Farmers’ Market and a picture of the new happy family for the beaver-squirrel toy that was donated to us earlier this year!
We are very grateful to for always being so accommodating, and to all our supporters and crafters who donate their pieces so we can raise money for Ukraine.

We are starting a new JustGiving fundraiser to buy a pickup truck together with charity (our Kyiv-based partners) - details to follow.

Please join us tomorrow for a rally to support Kherson.
On Saturday, 13 December, we will meet at 2:00 PM at Centenary Square (by the library), address: Birmingham B1 2ND.

This coming weekend, people all over the world will gather to draw attention to the “Human Safari” taking place in Kherson, where civilians are deliberately targeted by Russian drones for entertainment.

🇺🇦 Бірмінгем долучається до міжнародної ініціативи: 13–14 грудня в різних містах по всьому світу пройдуть протести проти «сафарі на людей» у Херсоні.
Мітинг у Бірмінгемі відбудеться на звичному місці 13 грудня (субота) з 14:00.
Приходьте та поширюйте інформацію про мітинг серед українців і британців.
