The government’s proposed changes to school food standards are the most significant in over a decade. For many children, they will improve the quality and consistency of school meals. For a significant minority of children, including many with SEND, food allergies, medical needs and feeding/eating disorders, the question is not only what is on the plate. It is whether they can eat it at all.

It's okay to have questions and it's okay to accept that your child is struggling, it's okay to accept things

What's not okay is lack of support, lack of funding and lack of understanding.
