Husband duties today!

I had the pleasure of driving Michelle to the Tangent President’s Lunch in Taunton. Huge congratulations to Carol Hamilton-King and her team for choosing such an excellent venue. It was wonderful to see so many ladies in attendance and enjoying the occasion.

There were also plenty of the usual well-known husbands on hand, doing their bit by selling raffle tickets and supporting the event.

I’m sure the day will raise a fantastic amount for Carol’s chosen charity, Alzheimer’s Society, while providing great fellowship and friendship along the way.

Wishing everyone a wonderful afternoon and every success with the fundraising!

How lovely to have a home visit from Simon Medley, Past IRO for 41 Club Switzerland and a member of Lucerne 112.
Simon was visiting his mother, who lives nearby, and very kindly came over for a catch-up — bringing with him a couple of thoughtful gifts.
A really kind gesture and a perfect example of the friendship and fellowship that makes 41 Club so special.

Another fantastic evening of fellowship and friendship last night at Ringwood & District 41 Club. Such a well attended meeting with 40 booked!

A big thank you to Ken for driving Tony and me over for two very special reasons.

Firstly, it was a real pleasure to induct Chris J into our great Association — yet another new member for Ringwood! A thriving, welcoming and ever-growing Club.

Secondly, we were treated to an absolutely fascinating talk from fellow Wimborne 41er Rob, sharing the story of the 6 years and 2 days he spent sailing around the world. What an inspiring adventure and a brilliant reminder to grab life with both hands.

Another cracking evening spent amongst friends — this is exactly what 41 Club is all about.

What a fantastic Development Workshop in Nottingham over the last two days. The room was packed with energy, positivity and a real passion for taking our Clubs forward.

Great ideas shared, honest discussions and plenty of practical thinking around membership, fellowship and building stronger Clubs for the future. Exactly what 41 Club is all about.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed so positively. Special thanks too to Mark Gilda, National Councillor for Region 6, for his support and help throughout the workshop.

The future looks bright when we have members this committed and enthusiastic.

Another fantastic Cluster evening, organised with military precision by Kevin Toon of Bournemouth!
14 Chairmen and Vice Chairmen from 10 Clubs coming together to share ideas, swap experiences and, most importantly, strengthen friendships across the Association.
This is exactly what 41 Club is all about — fellowship, support, inspiration and fun.

A small skirmish reportedly broke out at the RTBI & Ladies Circle final night party in Sheffield last night…

Nothing too serious thankfully — just a fierce disagreement over who was buying the next round and whether the DJ should be banned from ever playing YMCA again.

Great fun, great fellowship, and proof once again that RTBI and Tangent still know how to throw a proper party.

What happens in Sheffield… will almost certainly appear on Facebook by breakfast time!
