Birmingham’s Mesothelioma Support Group
This is a reminder that the next support group meeting on
Monday 8th June 2026, 11am - 1pm
This month we have Alida Coates from Irwin Mitchell solicitors and she will talk to us on the 'Role of the Solicitor in Mesothelioma'.
If you have not involved a solicitor yet, you may find this talk useful.
Her talk will be at the beginning of the meeting (11am) if you want to join remotely for this talk.
We think people get much more from the meetings if you can come along in person, but not everyone can travel to Birmingham. We are a lovely friendly, positive group and you might learn something.
Please email [email protected] if you are planning to attend for the full details, or if you'd like the link.

Our support group has been running successfully since 2017 and even blossomed during Covid (though it was online then), but sadly the numbers are dwindling. This is a plea to keep this important group running. If you are a patient or carer of someone with Mesothelioma and could attend just one meeting to see what you think, that would be fabulous.
MONDAY 9TH MARCH 2026: Speaker – Louise Nelson and Laura Smith – Mesothelioma UK Nurse Specialists from Leicester. A talk on Symptom Management with Mesothelioma and an update on their new regional roles.
RSVP to [email protected]
