🌟 What an unforgettable evening! A heartfelt and massive THANK YOU to all of those who joined us at the Lord Mayor of Birmingham's Charity Business & Culture Awards at Millennium Point! 🎉

From the inspiring award presentations, to congratulate all the amazing finalists and award winners, to celebrating our city's incredible business and individuals, to the live entertainment, and the vibrant networking that sparked so many meaningful connections – it was a night that embodied the very best of Birmingham's spirit. 🙌

Most importantly, your presence helped our fundraising goals, raising substantial funds that will directly empower local, vital non-profits, and community organisations across our great city. 💙

🌲 The UK’s First Balloon Christmas Tree 🎈✨

We’re excited to share that The Lord Mayor of Birmingham’s Charity is one of 10 charities being supported by the UK’s first Balloon Christmas Tree, a spectacular festive display aiming to be built from 100,000 balloons, raising £100,000 for amazing causes.

The tree will be on show inside a giant snowglobe at Moor Hall Hotel, Sutton Coldfield, from 29th November – 6th January, free for the public to visit.

Here’s how you can get involved and help grow the tree:

We’re excited to reveal the final judge for the Lord Mayor of Birmingham’s Charity Business & Culture Awards 2025! 🌟

Each week, we’ve introduced one of our independent judges, whose expertise and dedication will honour Birmingham’s remarkable contributions to business, culture, and community.

This week, meet Hayley Pepler from West Midlands Combined Authority, Head of Culture, Creative Industries and Digital Roadmap, an inspiring leader and advocate for positive change in Birmingham. Hayley is an Executive Producer and accomplished Director, Line Producer and Festival curator, with specialist expertise in the field of live broadcast, live and digital capture of arts programmes. Hayley has recently taken up a role to drive Creative and Cultural strategy in a regional context for the West Midlands making her passion and insight make her a vital addition to our distinguished panel.
