🇳🇵 PHASE TWO: HELPING NEPAL MOVE TOWARDS RECOVERY.

As the immediate emergency response continues to evolve, the focus is now on helping people affected by the floods stay safe, meet their basic needs and rebuilding their lives.

Bharat Vadakul from Sewa UK explains we are supporting displaced families in Nepal through:

Safe areas, shelter and accommodation
Food and essential supplies
Tents and blankets
Health camps and medical support
Water, sanitation and hygiene

But recovery also means protecting the future of Nepal’s children.

With around 500 children orphaned by the disaster, we are supporting efforts to provide safer accommodation and keep children connected to education.

Plans include hostel facilities within schools, 10,000 school uniforms and 10,000 school kits, including books, crayons and pencils.

Your support helps us continue responding where the need is greatest.

Some journeys are measured in miles. Others are measured in moments.

Our Sewa UK journey has given us moments of connection, service, learning and reflection moments that will stay with us long after the journey ends.

We asked our team to describe their experience in just 3 words and 3 sentences.

What came back was so much more than words, it was a glimpse into the emotions, memories and meaning behind the journey.

Swipe through and hear their reflections.

🇳🇵 Your donation doesn’t just provide relief - it helps rebuild lives.

But where does your support actually go?

Bharat Vadakul from Sewa UK walks us through the different stages of the Nepal Flood Relief response from immediate support for families affected by the floods to longer-term recovery and rebuilding.

Because recovery takes time. And your support helps make that journey possible.

Thank you for standing with Nepal.

The countdown to the Berlin Marathon 2026 is on! 🇩🇪🏅

Every step brings us closer to making a difference in the lives of children and families who need access to essential medical care.

Through medical outreach camps, we’re working towards bringing health, dignity, and hope to communities in need.

This is more than a marathon. It's a run for a greater cause, a journey of compassion, and a chance to turn miles into meaningful impact.

🌟 Volunteer Week 🌟

Real change happens because of volunteers.

From trustees and strategic leaders who guide the ship, carrying the responsibility, accountability, and risk, to every volunteer who selflessly gives their time to support others — each person plays a vital role in transforming lives.

Whether helping people, animals, or protecting nature, volunteers are the heartbeat of positive change. Their dedication, compassion, and generosity create hope where it is needed most.

The power of giving is the ultimate wealth. It costs nothing to care, yet its impact can last a lifetime.

This Volunteer Week, we celebrate every volunteer who gives their time, energy, and heart to make the world a better place. Thank you for all that you do. ❤️
