We have been incredibly kindly donated an original piece of artwork by BEBO to auction in support of our 711 Miles for Reggie fundraiser for Birmingham Children's Hospital.

BEBO is an established East Birmingham artist whose journey has taken him from graffiti and punk influences through to the Royal Scottish Academy, Ruskin and the Wickermandelica exhibition at KCB.

It's sad to see an event I was fully behind and offered considerable help towards education and fundraising being advertised all over. It hurts because, I know what my intentions were and what I was offering, yet it was all burnt down and shot apart in a series of emails. I will continue to support said establishment but it hurt, alot. I will continue to say that, when organ donation is involved, education around the subject is paramount. This wasn't about me taking away from the day, it was me adding to something that should have been available for those wanted both education surrounding organ donation and how to join the register etc. I must admit, however, any rejection hurts BUT it only gives me more fuel to talk about it further via here and other ways. The reality that I, the person whom's "memorial day" is being held and many others live with Organ Donation shouldn't be silenced over "fears of upsetting people"

Pink lips and freckles…

Freckles mean that extra wee bit more to us because of Dáithí’s Nanny Frances, who we lost almost 5 years ago.

Nanny’s pillow has also arrived at the Freeman 😊
