Erdington Neighbourhood Network Scheme - ENNS ENNS proudly provides vital funding & resources to voluntary groups & organisations within the Erdington Constituency.

We help support older adults and younger adults with registered needs, to live happy, independent and connected lives. The Erdington Neighbourhood Network Scheme is lead by Witton Lodge Community Association in partnership with Compass Support.

Neurodivas are hosting two special sessions to raise awareness, share experiences, and provide practical support around ADHD and neurodiversity.

The sessions are on Thursday 8th October from 9:30 - 11:30am, and on Thursday 22nd October from 9:30 - 11:30 am.

Both sessions will take place at The Sanctuary, Tangmere Dr, Birmingham, B35 7PX.

Forward carers and Somaia Health are offering a free 10 - week programme called RESET BEAM a course for carers.

RESET BEAM is a blend of mental and physical health practices, well suited to a carer who has expressed an interest in improving their physical health alongside their wellbeing.

Starting on 30th September 2026, every Wednesday 10:00am-1:00pm at Birmingham Buddhist Centre, Moseley.

Today we had our latest Birmingham Community Health Champions training session at Holy Trinity Church in Sutton Coldfield.

Focusing on immunisations and vaccines, there was plenty of meaningful discussions and shared experiences throughout the session. It was great to see everyone actively engaging and contributing their views.

A huge thank you to all our trainee health champions who attended and contributed.

We are pleased to have recently funded Spring to Life CIC's Bereavement Café in Erdington. The monthly café offers a supportive and inclusive space for people aged 50 and over, and for individuals living with disabilities who have experienced bereavement.

Led by trained therapists, the café enables participants to connect with others, discuss their experiences of loss, and access emotional support through guided conversations and therapeutic activities. Whether participants wish to share their experiences or simply listen, they are welcomed into a safe, compassionate, and understanding environment.

The Bereavement Café is held at Birmingham Settlement, 600 Kingstanding Road, B44 9SH, an accessible venue. Sessions take place from 10:30am to 11:30am.

Attendance is free of charge, refreshments are provided, and participants are welcome to bring a friend, family member, or supporter.

One of our ENNS Networkers visited Stockland Belles Netball Club and enjoyed a great evening seeing what a positive impact the club is having within their local community. On show was plenty of positive energy, teamwork and encouragement.

The Club focuses on developing game skills, fitness and improving wellbeing.
It is open to people of all abilities. The Club currently has four teams playing in Birmingham leagues.

Training sessions take place on Monday evenings from 7pm - 9pm at Prince Albert High School, 115 Holford Drive, Perry Barr, Birmingham, B42 2TU.

Our networker added: "It's inspiring to see a local group bringing people together and creating opportunities to get active in the community."

Everyone got creative and designed their own unique bookmarks. It was wonderful to see so much imagination, laughter, and creativity shared throughout the session.

It was a lovely opportunity to relax, connect with others, and express our creativity in a supportive environment.

Today The Erdington Neighbourhood Network Scheme (ENNS) delivered an engaging Bid Writing Workshop at Perry Common Community Hall.

Led by colleagues from Birmingham Community Matters, the session shared valuable insights into how to write a successful funding bid, the application process and how to navigate the funding landscape.

Attendees also had the opportunity to learn more about the ENNS and some of the important work taking place across our communities.

It was great to see so many people attend and actively engage. Thank you to everyone who took part and contributed!
