ENNS proudly provides vital funding & resources to voluntary groups & organisations within the Erdington Constituency.

We help support older adults and younger adults with registered needs, to live happy, independent and connected lives. The Erdington Neighbourhood Network Scheme is lead by Witton Lodge Community Association in partnership with Compass Support.

We had a wonderful Care for Carers session yesterday at Perry Common Community Hall! 😊

Everyone had lots of fun taking part in a special trivia quiz, watched a special performance of Music of the Night from Phantom of The Opera, given by one of the group members and spent time practicing mindfulness together.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made the session so enjoyable. 💙

Today, Northside Welcome Centre kindly invited us to join their special 20th anniversary celebration, marking two decades of bringing people together, fostering friendships and supporting the local community.

It was wonderful to reflect on the centre’s journey, celebrate the incredible contribution of volunteers, supporters and centre users, enjoy fantastic cultural entertainment and share in the celebrations with the wider community.

A huge congratulations to everyone at Northside Welcome Centre on this remarkable milestone. Here's to many more years of community spirit, inclusion and service. ❤️

Today we held a wonderful Care for Carers session, bringing everyone together for some well-deserved time to relax and connect.

For those who were unable to attend the trip to the Reserve Wildlife Park, we provided a complimentary lunch, giving everyone the chance to enjoy good food and great company. 🍽️
The afternoon also included a calming mindfulness session, helping carers take some time for themselves and focus on their wellbeing. 💚

What a great turnout at the ENNS Networking Event on 24th July! 🤝

The event provided a fantastic opportunity for local groups and organisations to come together, exchange ideas and explore ways to work collaboratively for the benefit of our community. We were delighted to welcome a range of inspiring groups, including Chairfull Wellbeing and the Erdington Lunar Society, whose passion and dedication sparked engaging conversations throughout the evening.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the event such a success. Events like these showcase the strength of local partnerships and the positive impact we can achieve when we connect, collaborate and share our experiences.

What a fantastic day yesterday at Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park with the carers from the Care for Carers group!

Everyone had a wonderful time seeing the amazing animals, enjoying the beautiful sunshine, and spending quality time together. ☀️

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and great memories made throughout the day.

The Veolia Sustainability Fund are offering grants of up to £1,000 per project as a resource to support areas such as equipment, materials, volunteers, or practical assistance where available.

This funding is open to projects supporting one or more of the following:

Northside Welcome Centre are hosting Social & Wellbeing Sessions alongside FREE Cooking Classes.

Their Social & Wellbeing Sessions offer a friendly and welcoming space for people to connect, enjoy board and card games, take part in light activities and reduce social isolation.

Led by a professional Chef, these live Healthy Cooking Workshops, focus on preparing nutritious meals and sharing practical tips on healthy eating to support overall wellbeing, including foods that may help reduce inflammation.

Both sessions will run from Tuesday 21st July.
