I have been coming to the pub for a while as the Sunday dinners are excellent I often wondered if it was haunted as it's by the battle of curdworth bridge which took place in 1642.
The White Horse Horse pub in Curdworth is widely reputed to be haunted by a ghostly nun, according to firsthand accounts from previous landlords. Local lore states that the current pub was built on the grounds of an ancient convent or nunnery where a nun was tragically murdered.

Former licensees reported seeing the spectral figure of a sister descending the cellar steps late at night.

Past staff reported objects being thrown down in the cellar area.

Occupants have reported restless nights filled with the inexplicable sound of clanging chains and barrels rolling across the floors after hour
