Don’t panic it is still only May, however when we put the sleigh away after last years santas run it was apparent that it would not last another season 😢

So we have decided to build a new one 🥹 we have a trailer that we need to build on but to do it we need to find somewhere soon that is secure and undercover with power and lighting. Something like a double garage. Do you have one that’s empty that we could use or know someone who has?
Please have a think and message us if you could help as we need to get Santa up and running again this year.

Have you ever thought about volunteering with England & Wales Blind Golf?

Our volunteers play a huge role in helping visually impaired golfers enjoy the game we all love. From guiding players on the course, spotting golf balls, helping at clinics and events, or simply offering encouragement and support — every role makes a real difference.

You don’t need to be a golf expert, just friendly, supportive and willing to help others enjoy the game. Along the way you’ll meet fantastic people, make new friendships and become part of an incredible community.

If you’d like to get involved and support blind and visually impaired golf, we’d love to hear from you! 🙌

How fantastic is this, we wish it had been there back in the day when we used to hold car boot sales in the park. But that probably was around 15 years ago now doesn’t time fly!!!

The cafe will be opening next Friday 1st May from 10am. Please come and support this fantastic new part of our park ☕️🍰

Sutton Rose Care Home and Erdington Rotary working in partnership.
Our club suggested some of the charities in the local area that would benefit from receiving eggs at Easter and members donated some of the eggs. Rosie from Sutton Rose Care home organised the collection of Easter Eggs donated by local supermarkets and the residents families who all contributed too.
Eggs were given to children& young adults with special needs at the YMCA in Sutton Coldfield, Free@last in Nechells, and Good Hope hospital on the children wards.

Lovely to see where the ring pulls we collect and send off end up. It’s incredible they can be turned into these wonderful products.

As the festive season draws to a close and we look forward to a new year we would like to share some photos from the free at last Christmas dinner. The club and some of our members made donations to ensure this could happen. 84 people went along to enjoy a superb meal, fun and games provided by a fabulous group of volunteers, a wonderful community initiative.
We are looking forward to another year working with all of the organisations we support.
