🚨 10 Brave Hearts. One Incredible Cause. 🪂❤️

Over the coming weeks, we'll be introducing our 10 amazing Young at Heart members and supporters who are taking the leap of a lifetime by skydiving to raise vital funds for our charity!

Each week we'll share the story of one of our incredibly brave thrill-seekers as they prepare to jump in support of children and families affected by congenital heart disease.

💙❤️Changes to Team Red 💙❤️

As our charity continues to grow, we'd like to take a moment to recognise some important changes within our Board of Trustees.

Firstly, we'd like to say a huge thank you to Keke as she steps down from her role as Trustee. We are incredibly grateful for the time, dedication and support she has given to Young at Heart. Your commitment has helped make a real difference to the families we support, and we truly appreciate everything you've contributed.
Although Keke is stepping down as a Trustee, we're delighted that she'll still be joining us at many of our upcoming activities and events, so this certainly isn't goodbye!

We'd also like to thank Ebony as she steps down from her role as Chair.
Leading a charity takes an enormous amount of time, passion and commitment, and we're incredibly grateful for everything she has done to help guide Young at Heart. We're pleased that Ebony will continue as a Trustee, and we're so thankful that she'll remain part of our team.

Following our recent trustee meeting, we're delighted to announce that Cat Hughes has been elected as our new Chair, with April Obinna elected as our new Vice Chair.

Please join us in congratulating Cat and April on their new roles. We know they'll continue to lead Young at Heart with passion, kindness and dedication as we continue supporting children with congenital heart conditions and their families.

Today we celebrated Fontan Schools 3rd Birthday 🎂 Thank you to our lovely families today who joined us after the session for cake and a photo 🎂 And thank you to 3dtoyshop for our wonderful fontan teddies that really do help prepare the children as part of the session.

Today we celebrate 44 years of Young at Heart ❤️
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to the families who founded this wonderful charity 44 years ago, and to all the families who have continued to support and carry its legacy forward over the years. ❤️
Your dedication, kindness, and commitment have helped Young at Heart grow into the special community it is today, supporting countless heart families along the way.
