Help for carers of those with mental health problems

Family Tree Wirral is a registered charity which provides a number of services dedicated to helping carers of those suffering from mental health problems. We recognize how important carers are and the strain that is often placed on them as they sacrifice so much of their time and often their own mental health to help care for a loved one. Family Tree Wirral provides carer-focused support and information so that we can help reduce carer burden and psychological distress, and improve the carer’s quality of life. We do this through a free carer’s counselling service, advocacy and benefits advice, a monthly support group and regular social activities. We also produce a quarterly newsletter and we have training events that educate carers on vital information they may not be aware of.
