Wonderful baking session at Community Shop Beechwood recently. All our friends went home with a home made sponge topped with cherries.

One of our wonderful volunteers is playing 'Badger' in the new musical version of
'Wind in the Willows', this week from
Thursday 22nd October at the
Gladstone Theatre in Port Sunlight.
It's the first ever time it's been performed on the Wirral.
There's also a matinee on Saturday 24th October.
Tickets available online or at the box office in advance and on the day!"

Another music session led by our wonderful guitarists with hearty singing by our friends.
Singing often prompts memories for people living with dementia and memory loss. When asked by our guitarist if everyone was doing ok one of our members who was there for the first time replied
'You bet you life, I am now!!'
All our groups mean so much to those who attend.

Dementia Together Wirral's Life President, Allan Grogan, met with Little Sutton Bowling Club President Mike Finn to thank the club, it's members and supporters for their very kind donation of £ 250.00. Donations such as these will help relieve the social isolation that can be felt by those living locally with dementia.

Our friends had a wonderful afternoon of bowling in the late September sunshine.
Thanks to all our volunteers and members who have made this fun new activity the success it has been.

One of wonderful friends has recently completed her first triathlon which she undertook in memory of her dad Edward Magnall who enjoyed many of our activities and events.
Huge congratulations to Katherine for completing this triathlon and raising over £ 1100 on behalf of
Dementia Together Wirral.
What a fantastic achievement! 💛
