In Rotary we are non-political, although many of our members give service back to the community as MPs, local Councillors and even Mayors.

Earlier this week I had the privilege of being invited to see Mary Jordan made Mayor of Wirral for the next year. The post of Mayor is equally a non-political role. It was wonderful to see Mary's pride in accepting this role, and she's an active member of my club, Bebington Rotary

I saw several friendly faces including Robin Baynes of The Rotary Club Of West Derby Liverpool, and my friends Lottie & Lynn who were representing Wirral Carers - one of the Mayor's charities. It was such a great opportunity to share with several members of my club (pictures). Watch out for the adventures of my Mayor Bear now as well.

There are so many opportunities being part of Rotary, and you meet so many interesting people!

Come and meet an enthusiastic and knowledgeable band of Wirral residents who care about nature and climate change and have become involved in making a difference in the areas where they live and work.

There will be lots to do for all the family including musical entertainment and refreshments – and it is FREE to come along.
Bring your family and friends. Enjoy some time out and come away with ideas about how you can protect our environment for future generations.
Local produce and crafts will also be available from Heswall Farmers’ Market and Craft Market, which will be taking place in Heswall Hall.

Cool Heswall is organised by the Joint Rotary Environment Group, Heswall.
