🎭 MEET THE PRODUCTION TEAM – THE PRODUCERS 🎭
We’re delighted to introduce the fantastic team leading our 2027 production of The Producers! With a wealth of experience both on and off stage, this talented team is already hard at work bringing Mel Brooks’ hilarious musical comedy to life.
✨ Director – David Ayres
David returns to lead the show following the huge success of Rock of Ages and Witches of Eastwick. With years of experience both performing and directing, Dave brings creativity, passion, and a brilliant eye for entertainment to every production.
🎶 Musical Director – Ken Gilroy
We’re thrilled to welcome Ken Gilroy back as Musical Director. Ken brings incredible musical knowledge and experience in leading bands and vocal performances, and we’re excited to have his talent back with Bingley Amateurs.
💃 Choreographer – Ted Oxley
A warm welcome to Ted Oxley as choreographer for this production. Although this is Ted’s first time choreographing for Bingley Amateurs, he’ll already be a familiar face to many audience members after appearing in several of our past productions. Ted also brings choreography experience from working with other societies, and we can’t wait to see his ideas brought to the stage.
🎭 Producer – Emma Wareing
Emma Wareing returns as producer after taking on the role for our musical in March The Witches of Eastwick. Having been part of Bingley Amateurs for nearly two decades, both on stage and more recently behind the scenes as a choreographer, Emma brings a huge amount of experience, knowledge, and dedication to the team.
We can’t wait to share more with you as we begin the journey to bringing The Producers to the stage! ✨
