Some of our team have been tidying the bottom car park - it looks much better now.😀
The dead hedge by the bird hide has been repaired too!! We've put a notice on it encouraging children to add sticks!!
It makes such a difference to the area around the hide.

What is a dead hedge?? - it provides HABITAT for birds, hedgehogs & insects. SUSTAINABILITY - recycling wood, brash/twigs.

What is a STUMPERY Garden??......
It's a Victorian styled feature composed of tree stumps, logs, roots, ferns etc arranged to create a sculptural effect usually in a shady habitat.
Originally created in 1856.
Find ours in the Picnic Area - it's a work in progress!!!
