💦 April is coming… and we’re getting pool ready! 💦

After the amazing news shared in our recent video, we’re now fully focused on getting everything ready for our April reopening 🙌

Work is underway to complete essential repairs and ensure the pool is:
✔ Safe
✔ Reliable
✔ Ready to welcome everyone back

While we’ve had incredible support so far, our Crowdfunder is still open to help us:
• Complete remaining repairs
• Cover contingency costs
• Strengthen the pool’s long-term future

This pool plays such an important role for:
💙 Children & families
💙 Schools, SEND groups & scouts
💙 Fitness classes & regular swimmers
💙 Mental wellbeing and connection within our community

Our incredible friends at The Ship Inn are the venue for this great night out, in aid of the pool!! Whether you want to step up to take part or sit back and enjoy, we would love your support. Get the date on your calendar!!

As we move in to 2026 the year has definitely seen many ups and downs but as we now work towards the reopening in 2026 it's safe to say it's going to be a busy year! please continue to support the pool in any way you can and follow our journey to reopening this hidden treasure for our community and district. I cant wait to see everyone using it in 2026!!

Our first 2026 jumbled sale will be in February, please think of us when having a clear out. We can't wait to see you there to grab some bargains. Thank you to everyone for your on going support.

As we head towards the end of 2025 we just wanted to say we are still working so hard behind the scenes ensuring everything is ready for the pool to open in April 2026.

As we keep saying we are your community pool. Whether you would like a collection tin at your place of work, would like to hold a fundraising event in aid of the pool (who does love a cake sale or quiz nite), are having a sort out to donate to the first jumble sale of 2026 or want to help prepare the pool for opening or maybe join the volunteer rota and learn the ropes in the kiosk..... Billy needs YOU!! There really is something for everyone!!

Yes we still need monies to ensure the pool is not only ready this April but every year for years to come. It would be great to see this figure increase to see in 2026.

Are you already having a sort out to put those new toys or clothes away?? Did you get a few presents that weren't quite your "thing"??

As we continue our fundraising we have a jumble sale arranged already and will be constantly needing raffle prizes for lots of events in 2026. We would love to take items off your hands and we promise we won't tell any great aunts where they came from!!

Collection can be arranged at a time that's convenient.

Let's make us even more ready for April 2026.

Just a little message from the new commitee we would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you again for all your support in getting us this far. Billy's elves will be dropping the last few prizes from the elf trail later today for anyone that wants to complete it today. Stay safe everyone and enjoy your time with friends and family.
