WGUK Spintastic Training Weekend takes place on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June with three different performance groups…

1. Growing - revisit and refine the foundation skills of colour guard.
2. Accelerating - explore more complex moves and combinations. Recommended 5+ years’ experience
3. Aspiring - focus on movement and equipment, elevating technical and advanced performance skills whilst understanding the benefits to planning phrase lengths, range and variety.

Today we would like to introduce you to the Accelerating Group Lead Clinician, Toni Mansfield …

Toni Mansfield is a leading performer and coach with over 20 years experience in the Sport of the Arts. A 14-time British Champion gold medalist and four-time World Championship finalist, Toni has achieved consistent success at the highest level of performance.

Having performed with Mayflower, Kidsgrove, Black Knights, The Academy and Dagenham, Toni brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and real competitive insight to her work.

Known for her strong performance quality and high standards, Toni specialises in creative writing, performance critique, building performers confidence, and technique refinement. Her teaching style is engaging, focused, and designed to challenge, inspire, and elevate every performer.

In September 2013 UK Fan Network, the brain child of WGUK Hall of Famer Lee Court, first came into being and was managed under the Drum Corps International "The Fan Network" streaming portal.

In late 2015 the DCI portal was closed and so at the beginning of 2016 Marching & Performing Arts UK officially launched its own dedicated portal at www.ukfannetwork.org covering the video history of both DCUK : Drum Corps United Kingdom and WGUK: Winter Guard United Kingdom. 2026 sees us celebrate its 10th Anniversary.

We now have over 3000 videos available covering 95% of our history back to early 1980's (if you happen to find any videos from the missing years hidden in a cupboard please let us know) and is a lasting legacy of the 1,000's of shows and performers that have been part of our activity over the past 45 years.
