Can you "bring in the dough" supporting fundraising in the group? ⚜️💷

Biggleswade Scout Group are looking to recruit a new volunteer to research, co-ordinate and submit our requests for grant funding on a volunteer basis. We submit applications for funding throughout the year as required.
As a registered charity we rely heavily on monetary grants from the local community to help maintain and develop the Scout Group as well as our resources and assets.
We are looking for someone to research potential local grants and funding sources that the group is eligible for and facilitate the submission of completed applications for this funding as agreed by the Trustee Board.

Become our new Chair and support our local young people! ⚜️

Biggleswade Scout Group are looking to recruit a new Chair for our Trustee Board. Trustees are a team of volunteers who see the big picture, make decisions, and work together to help Scouts run smoothly and the Chair is responsible for leading the Trustee Board. It’s usual for Trustees to meet 5 - 7 times a year, as well as a few additional hours a month when needed.

It’s a team effort, so you’ll be working with other friendly trustees to get things done.
