✨️ we're often our toughest critic, sometimes we don't even realise we're doing it.
But take a second, think about everything you do each day to get yourself, your kids, friends and family through the day... then celebrate the fact you did it.
No one else truly knows what it takes for you to be you, or what you've got going on behind the smiles so celebrate you, even if its just for a second.

✨Looking back...

I'm not really a big believer in looking back too often, there's no changing what's already happened.
Having said that, looking back to see just how far you've come, to realise that maybe you're actually doing better than you think you are is one time i'd say serves a purpose.
I'm also very aware that giving advice to others is easy, taking your own advice, not so much.
So with that in mind i'm going to look back at how far i've come over the last 8years...
- I've kept 3 young boys alive and healthy.
- I've kept myself alive.
- I've built a home, somewhere safe for the boys, somewhere they can be 100% themselves and for me to be myself.
- I've rebuilt myself, from a very broken rock bottom, feeling very lost. I've still got work to do but from then to now, there's a big difference.
- I'm much happier and more comfortable with who i am.
- I started a charity.
- I've got 2 jobs.
- I've got an amazing support system around me.
I think sometimes we focus so much on where we still want to be, that we forget to acknowledge everything we've already survived, rebuilt and achieved along the way. I might not be where i thought i would, but i'm proud of where i am.
