Betty and Dave Croft, with the help of their daughter Jo, have once again opened their famous annual plant sale in support of The Chartwell Children's Cancer Trust.

Head over to 3 Roseveare Road, SE12 9RX to pick up garden ready vegetables and plants for bumper crops and colourful flower beds this summer. Whether you are sprucing up your garden or starting from scratch, there is something for everyone but be quick, as they always sell out fast!

AFC Greenwich Borough Academy Presentation Day 2026

Join us at GB10 Sports tomorrow from 11:30am for the AFC Greenwich Borough Academy Presentation Day 2026.

A special day to celebrate the hard work, dedication and achievements of all our academy players throughout the season, alongside coaches, families and supporters.

We will be there with a bouncy castle and obstacle course for everyone to enjoy and all donations will be to The Chartwell Childrenโ€™s Cancer Trust to continue supporting children and families affected by cancer.

Come along, celebrate the players' achievements, enjoy the activities, support a fantastic cause, and help make it a memorable day for the entire AFC Greenwich Borough family.

Thank you to Jen and Brodie from the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust, who are taking on the incredible Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge 100K, an epic 63-mile continuous walk through the day and night, in support of The Chartwell Cancer Trust.

This remarkable challenge will test their determination and endurance as they walk all day and all night along the beautiful Cotswold Way.

Yesterday, thanks to supporter Chandra Sharma and Start Up Bromley, Jo from The Chartwell Cancer Trust had the opportunity to hear from Bromley FC Chairman, Robin Stanton-Gleaves.

Robin spoke passionately about his vision for the club, his commitment to the local community and his personal experience of overcoming prostate cancer.

Congratulations to Bromley FC on your promotion to League One, thoroughly deserved and a fantastic achievement for everyone connected with the club!

As well as our popular bakes, we will also have a lovely range of knitted toys, handmade by our wonderful volunteer Margaret, available to purchase.
