We're excited to share that WithYou has partnered with Book relief UK to bring more books and opportunities to our community!

Thanks to this collaboration, Chy, our rehabilitation centre in Cornwall, now has a brand new book lending library - an idea sparked by our clients and made possible through teamwork and collaboration.

Book Relief UK, a dedicated literacy charity run entirely by volunteers, has supported us with funding so Chy can expand its collection of recovery-focused books. Even better, residents will take turns as “library monitors,” helping run the library while building practical skills in organisation, communication, and literacy.

Caroline Gayle-Dunne, Service Manager at Chy, said:

"We’re really excited to team up with Book Relief and put recovery-focused books into more hands. The right book can offer encouragement, new ideas, and real hope - sometimes it’s just what someone needs to keep moving forward. It’s all about giving people the tools and inspiration to believe in themselves and their recovery."

Michelle Woodward, Residential Practitioner at Chy, added:

“We’re incredibly grateful to have received £500 to support the launch of our rehab book club - a gentle yet powerful way to foster reflection, connection, and recovery.”

Together, we're opening new chapters for learning, growth, and recovery. Huge thanks to Book Relief UK for making this possible! 💙

We had an amazing time at the Safari animal event in Appledore yesterday.

We gave out free books to every child who attended and also sold some to adults.

Jeremy helped children write limericks and list poems which was alot of fun.

Thankyou to all who arrived for the event and we are grateful to everyone who supports us through the events, the bookshop and our socials 💙📚
