Night Walking in the Roaches 🗻

In January 2151 (Biddulph) Squadron joined 60 (Leek) Squadron for an evening of night walking in the Roaches, giving cadets the opportunity to develop their navigation skills, teamwork, and confidence in a challenging outdoor environment.

A sincere thank you to the staff at 60 (Leek) Squadron for the invitation, and to the qualified staff who ensured a safe and enjoyable activity for everyone involved.

Well done to all cadets who took part — an excellent effort and a great example of the opportunities available through the RAF Air Cadets.

Cadet Force Adult Volunteer Recruitment

Who are we?

The Royal Air Force Air Cadets is a volunteer-military youth organisation sponsored by the Royal Air Force with circa 40,000 cadets and 10,000 Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAV) across over 900 Squadrons in the UK and overseas.

Cadet Force Adult Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organisation. Without your commitment and enthusiasm, the very real benefits of the ‘cadet experience’ could not be enjoyed by the many thousands of young people who choose to become cadets.

Of course, the reasons for volunteering are personal and varied, and often centred around family or community links to the cadet forces and the willingness to ‘give something back’.

For many, the reason they volunteer is to see young people grow in stature, expand their horizons, make positive life choices and be inspired to achieve things they never thought they could.

On Sunday, 2151 (Biddulph) Squadron joined people across the country in honouring those who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Our cadets proudly took part in the local Remembrance Sunday parade, marching alongside veterans, community groups, and members of the public to pay tribute to the fallen and those who continue to serve.

We will remember them.

2151 (Biddulph) Squadron Air Cadets are teaming up with The Gingerbread Centre to host a fantastic Fundraiser for the local community!

📅 Saturday 15th November 2025
🕙 10:00 – 12:00 hrs
📍 Biddulph Town Hall

Join us for a fun-filled morning with a range of activities for all ages — and don’t forget to grab a cup of tea or coffee while you’re here

All proceeds will go towards supporting The Gingerbread Centre and the ongoing activities of 2151 Squadron, helping us make a difference in our community.

Come along, bring your friends and family, and help us raise funds for two great causes!

🎉 Congratulations 🎉

Please join us in congratulating Sgt Jennings RAFAC on successfully completing the Senior Staff Drill Instructors Course (SSDIC).

Having achieved this qualification, Sgt Jennings is now trained to instruct:
All elements of basic foot drill, banner drill and ceremonial drill

This is an excellent accomplishment and will be of great benefit to our squadron, Staffordshire Wing and the wider organisation.
