We're thrilled to invite you to our much-anticipated annual Bonfire Night! Get ready for an unforgettable evening filled with dazzling fireworks, delicious food and festive drinks.

📍 Where? - Water Meadows, Lower Heyford

Hi All,

Just a quick message.

The committee are holding a meeting THIS EVENING in the clubhouse at 18:00.

We would like to invite anyone who is interested in helping out at the May Day Festival to come along. We will be discussing the final details of the event as well as assigning roles that will need filling for the event.

If you are unable to make it to the meeting this evening but would still be interested in helping at the event, please feel free to message us and we can arrange a role on your behalf.

⭐️ LOWER HEYFORD MAY DAY FESTIVAL ⭐️
📍 King Georges Field - Lower Heyford - OX25 5PG
🗓️ Saturday 4th May 2024 @ 2:00pm

Hi All,

It is with great excitement we would like to invite you to our May Day Festival! There will be live music, stalls, inflatables and MUCH MORE!

The event will run from 2:00pm - 5:00pm with live music throughout as well as refreshments including soft drinks and a selection of beers, lagers and spirits available in the club house from 2:00pm.

We also have a wide range of stalls available for you to browse as well as rides and entertainment for the children!

We encourage you to come down with family and friends for an exciting day of fun in the sun.

There will be a bbq offering burgers and sausages to keep you from going hungry, as well as the well stocked bar open in the club house.

Parking will be available in the playing field, appropriate signage directing you where to park will be on display throughout the village on the day. Please note, this is on a first come first serve basis.

**PLEASE NOTE- This is a cash only event**

Hi All,

Having held our AGM last Sunday. I am pleased to announce we had an outstanding showing from the village. We had 14 people present at our meeting, the most we have had in a while.

As part of this, there has been a lot of changes to the committee. I’m glad to say the committee will continue for another year, however, we have some new members to introduce.

Our new committee is as follows:

Mitchell Gee - Chairman
Pete Thompson - Treasurer
David Slater - Secretary

Barry Varney - Committee Member
Lesley Thompson - Committee Member
Johanne Slater - Committee Member
Hayley Whitford - Committee Member
Nick Whitford - Committee Member
Aly Bateman - Committee Member
Gary Bateman - Committee Member

I would just like to say a massive thank you to all who came along to the meeting. Along with the new committee members above we have managed to create a large contact list for helpers when it comes to setting up events in the village.

With all the amazing news above, I am also pleased to announce that we WILL BE holding a Mayday event this year. This will be held on Saturday 4th May with more details to follow very soon!
