🏫 Choosing a School Place for a Child with SEND

Choosing the right school for your child can feel like a daunting decision, particularly when they have additional needs.

While Ofsted reports, school websites and performance data can provide useful information, they only tell part of the story. Visiting schools, asking questions and considering how they will meet your child's individual needs is equally important.

💡 Top Tip: Arrange a visit, ask questions, speak to the SENCO and trust your instincts. The best school for your child is not always the one with the highest results - it's the one that can understand their needs, provide appropriate support and help them thrive.

Remember, no two children are the same, and no school will be the perfect fit for every child. Taking the time to gather information and consider your child's individual strengths, needs and preferences can help you make a more informed decision.

Don't forget we have our coffee morning this morning..... come and have a drink whilst the kids enjoy some craft activities. 10am til 12 noon.

On Wednesday (10am -noon), we will have children's craft activities and cress pot creations available at our coffee morning.
Come and have a cuppa, with the Bexley NAS team, while the kids are busy. 😀
No cost. We will be at the Cafe area, at the back of New Community Church, Station Road Sidcup.
