Bexhill Carnival week 2027 is 24th July - 31st July 2027. We look forward to welcoming you! Bexhill Carnival is the biggest community event in Bexhill.

In 2022 we are looking for the Carnival to be the biggest and best ever with assistance from local businesses and sponsors. This page will be one of the ways we will keep the people of Bexhill updated with what is going on

❤️🎡 SUPPORTING OUR LOCAL CHARITIES! 🎡❤️

Following our AGM this week, we were delighted to present our 2026 charity partners, Children With Cancer Fund and Jack Jeffreys Superhero Trust , with £1,000 each! ❤️

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community during this year’s Carnival procession, we were able to DOUBLE our donations from 2025!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and helped us support these wonderful charities!

We’re already starting to look ahead to Bexhill Carnival 2027, and we’d love some new faces to join us! ❤️

Bexhill Carnival is created by local people who give their time, ideas and enthusiasm to make Carnival Week something our whole town can enjoy.

Maybe you’ve got some great ideas? Perhaps you’d like to help with events, social media, fundraising, sponsorship, organising or simply lend a hand when you can.

You don’t need any experience and you don’t have to commit to everything. Even a little bit of help can make a big difference.

🎬THROWBACK TO BEXHILL CARNIVAL 2026! 🎬

We’re looking back at some more brilliant memories from Carnival Day on 25th July — and what a day it was!

Earlier this year, we asked our Facebook community to vote for their favourite theme ideas. MOVIES received the most votes, and the Carnival Committee then chose it as our official 2026 Carnival theme — and what a brilliant choice it turned out to be! 🎬🍿

We had such fantastic feedback on the theme, and our amazing participants really brought it to life. The costumes, characters, groups and floats were incredible, and it was brilliant to see everyone having so much fun taking part.

So now we want to hear from you again…

❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU TO JESUS LOVES BEXHILL ❤️

We would like to say a massive thank you to Jesus Loves Bexhill for their incredible support throughout Bexhill Carnival Week. 🎪🎉

Not only did they send us these amazing photos capturing our events so beautifully, but their team also gave up their time to help with litter picking throughout our Carnival events.

Their help was especially invaluable after Party in the Park. With thousands of people enjoying the evening, there was a huge clean-up ahead of us, and their hard work made such a difference to our Carnival team and helped us get the Polegrove ready again. 🙌

We are incredibly grateful for everything Jesus Loves Bexhill does for us, not just this year but year after year. Community support like this is what makes Bexhill Carnival possible. ❤️

Thank you to the whole Jesus Loves Bexhill team for always being there to support us — we truly appreciate you! 🎡❤️

Looking back at our incredible Party in the Park on 24th July! 💙

As more beautiful photos arrive from our official photographer, we’re reminded what a fantastic evening it was. It was amazing to see so many people of all ages enjoying a brilliant night of live music, entertainment and carnival fun together.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and to all of our volunteers, performers, sponsors and everyone who helped make the evening such a success. We truly couldn’t do it without you.

We already can’t wait to do it all again next year! 💙

🎯 A Huge Thank You to The Strand Bexhill Darts Team! 🎯

On 18th July, The Strand Bexhill Darts Team held a fantastic charity darts event in support of our Carnival Partners, Jack Jeffreys Superhero Trust and the Children With Cancer Fund

Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who took part and supported the event, they raised an amazing £500! 👏💙

From everyone at Bexhill Carnival Committee , thank you to The Strand Darts Team for your hard work, generosity and continued support. Community spirit like this is what makes Bexhill so special, and we’re incredibly grateful to have you supporting our carnival and our chosen charities.

Well done to everyone involved, and thank you for making such a positive difference! 💛🎯

The Bexhill Carnival Committee is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our much-loved former committee member, Colette Wootten.

Colette was a valued part of our Carnival family and will be remembered for her warmth, kindness and wonderful sense of humour. She brought joy wherever she went, with her love of colour, her passion for plants and gardens, and her genuine care for everyone she met. She had a remarkable way of making people feel welcome, and her kindness touched so many lives. Colette's friendship, enthusiasm and generosity of spirit will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

On behalf of everyone at the Bexhill Carnival Committee, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Colette's family, friends and all who loved her. Our thoughts are with them at this very sad time.

Rest in peace, Colette. You will always be remembered with great affection.

💙 THANK YOU, BEXHILL! 💙

What an incredible Carnival Week!

From our Party in the Park and Carnival Day to all the fantastic events throughout the week, we’ve been overwhelmed by the amazing support from our community.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, took part, volunteered, performed, sponsored, had a stall, helped behind the scenes, or simply came out to enjoy the celebrations. Seeing so many people of all ages smiling, laughing and making memories is exactly what Bexhill Carnival is all about.

Every year, our carnival is organised entirely by volunteers who give up countless hours alongside their jobs, families and everyday lives. We couldn’t do it without our dedicated committee, our wonderful volunteers, our sponsors, and every single person who supports us.

We’ve received so many lovely comments and messages over the past week, and they truly mean the world to us. Thank you for your kindness, encouragement and continued support.

Of course, no event is ever perfect, and we’ll always take on board constructive feedback to help make next year’s carnival even better.

Finally, if you’ve enjoyed this year’s carnival and have ideas you’d love to bring to life, we’d love to hear from you. We’re always looking for new committee members and volunteers, so please feel free to join us next year and help make Bexhill Carnival even bigger and better.

For now, we’re going to enjoy a well-earned rest… before we start planning all over again!
