Jubilee+ Equipping UK churches to change the lives of those living in poverty in their communities. www.jubilee-plus.org

Jubilee+ is a team set up by the Newfrontiers churches in the UK. Our aim is to equip churches to engage more effectively with our communities and, particularly, to help them increase their capacity to serve the poor. We are involved in a wide range of projects and initiatives to achieve these goals. We train leaders, provide resources, bring encouragement, establish networks, carry out research,

develop relationships with partner organisations and run conferences. Our website (www.jubilee-plus.org) is one of our key resources and we hope you find it helpful. You can also follow us on Twitter (www.twitter.com/jubileeplus). One of our hopes is that we will also be an encouragement to other churches outside our network as we, together, seek to enable the church to be highly effective in its integrated mission to preach Christ and demonstrate his love for our communities.

Refugee Week starts today. 🌍

What would it look like for our churches to become places of true welcome and belonging?

We spoke to Gay Jacklin from Worthing 4 Refugees about friendship, integration, shared meals, and the powerful difference ordinary people can make in the lives of refugees.

Learning? Yes. Reflection? Yes. Organised fun? Also yes! 🎉

The Jubilee+ Staff Day 2026 was an absolute joy.

As a remote team spread across the UK, getting together like this is so important.

There was plenty of food, laughter, and space to reflect on our values of mercy, justice and humility.

We’re grateful to God for the gift of people and team 🙌

What does it look like for the Church to respond well to class in the UK today?

We are looking forward to being part of this one day event looking at the topic of Class and Ministry in the UK today hosted by Oak Hill College.

Natalie Williams will be leading a seminar titled:

End of the line? Class in coastal towns.

Having grown up in relative poverty in the coastal town of Hastings, Natalie has personal experience of living in one of the most deprived areas of the UK and witnessing first-hand the contrasts of wealth and poverty that are often found side by side in seaside communities. This seminar will explore how local churches and ministries can serve and work well within these unique contexts.

It's not too late to book your spot either in person or online!

📸 It's time for a May photo roundup!

1 & 2. Chris Duerden and Natalie Williams spent a weekend in Bolton speaking on “Bringing God’s Kingdom to those in Poverty” with the School of Transformed Supernatural Life, followed by a Sunday with Grace Church, Bolton where Chris Duerden preached.

3. We enjoyed a wonderful 48 hours at our first ever Jubilee+ Social Action Retreat. We gathered 40 wonderful people making the most of time to rest in God’s presence and be refreshed for His purpose.

4. The Formed video resource was launched at the Proximity Conference alongside five of our Formed trainees, in collaboration with our friends at Proximity Hub 🎉

5. There was even some time in the Proximity studio recording something special coming soon…🎧

6.Natalie Williams popped into the Evangelical Alliance studio to record an episode of Faith in Focus - coming out in June!

May was a big month for Jubilee+, and we’re so grateful to God for every opportunity to serve and equip churches, social action leaders, and individual Christians across the UK. 🙏

Too many people rule themselves out before they’ve even started.

Formed creates space where people are encouraged, supported, and helped to recognise how God can use their gifting.
