www.spaceforyew.co.uk https://bookwhen.com/spaceforyew We provide a range of inclusive services:

Weekly Family Stay, Play & Learn sessions (ages 0–8) – part of the ESCC SEND Local Offer. These child led sessions include sensory play, arts & crafts, games, and inform

al learning. Activities are tailored each week to meet the diverse needs of families attending. Nature Connections – Weekly outdoor sessions for children and their parents/carers, with a deep focus on wellbeing and the restorative power of nature. FREE monthly Coffee & Art mornings – creative, supportive meet-ups for parents/carers who are neurodivergent or raising neurodivergent children. Space for Yew in the Community – wellbeing social sessions such as seasonal wreath making as well as supported trips to community venues and events such as the pantomime or local farms. These experiences help people feel comfortable, connected, and part of their wider community while reducing isolation. We support children facing barriers to education – including those on part-time timetables, awaiting school placements, home educated, or struggling within school. Our staff team brings both lived and professional experience of neurodivergence including Autism, PDA, and ADHD. Our Sites -
Rother’s Neurodivergent Hub Bexhill, East Sussex
We are developing a new Hub in Egerton Park which will provide a welcoming, shared space for organisations and professionals supporting the neurodivergent community. The Hub will feature a large enclosed outdoor area with both a nature-based provision and a sports space alongside flexible indoor rooms equipped with sensory resources. These spaces are being designed to host a wide range of groups, activities, and events, offering families a supportive environment to connect and thrive. Woodland Site Battle, East Sussex
Our woodland site is the home of our project Nature Based Connections. Here we have created a safe, nurturing environment where children and families can connect, play, and enjoy the many benefits of being outdoors.

Hello, is anyone able to help? 🚐

We have been offered this great little shelter for the Hub, but we can’t fit it in our van.

It’s 1.6 x 1.6 metres and we can help dismantle if needed 🙂

It needs collecting from Hailsham next week and brought to the Hub in Bexhill

Please tag anyone that may be able to help 🤞🏻

Thank you!

Sadly, we’ve been experiencing a higher rate of no-shows at our HAF sessions than we can sustain.

With a small group of just 12 spaces, each no-show significantly reduces our attendance rate.

We completely understand that plans can change. However, if you know you’re unable to attend, please cancel your space in advance. We have families on our waiting list who would love the opportunity to join us.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

🌳 Nature Connections update 🌳

After lots of thought, we’ve made the decision that our current Nature Connections sessions in Battle will come to an end after 27th August.

We know how much many of you have loved these sessions, and we completely understand that moving away from a natural woodland setting will feel like a change. 🌿

But this isn’t the end of Nature Connections — it’s an opportunity to grow something new at Rother’s Neurodivergent Hub. 🌱

The park has a very different feel to a natural woodland, but we’ve been working with a landscape architect to help us develop the outdoor space into somewhere that can support nature, exploration, sensory play and connection.

We’re also exploring how we can bring elements of Nature Connections indoors, making them accessible all year round and in all weathers. ☀️🌧️

And, importantly… there are real toilets! 😆🚽

🔥 A little note about our remaining woodland sessions:
Due to the current fire restrictions, our remaining sessions will be completely fire-free. We’ll still have plenty of opportunities for nature exploration, play, creativity and connection without the campfire.

💬 But we want to hear from you!

What has been your favourite part of Nature Connections so far?

🌿 Exploring the woodland?
🔥 The campfire?
🪵 Building and making?
🐛 Finding bugs and wildlife?
🎨 Nature crafts?
🌳 Free play and exploring?
👫 Spending time with other families?

And what would you love to see at the Hub?

Tell us in the comments — we’ll be using your ideas as we develop our new Nature Connections space. 💚

We’re sad to say goodbye to our woodland sessions, but we’re really excited about what we can grow next. 🌱
