MAGGIES FUNERAL IS ON FRIDAY 16TH JANUARY AT 10.15 AT HASTINGS CREMATORIUM ❤️

It is with great sadness, we wish to say Maggie White at the grand age of 92, passed away this morning, peacefully at her amazing care home, Streatfeild House, Cornfield Terrace, TN37 6JD. Maggie lived with us for 28 years and at Streatfeild House for the past 5/6 years. Funeral arrangements to follow, any donations please make to Streatfeild House.

What a Night at Bexhill Gateway Club! ✨🎄

Tonight marked our last session of 2025, and wow… we partied like never before! 🕺💃
Our festive disco was full of fun, laughter, and brilliant dance moves — made even more magical with a special visit from Father Christmas 🎅, who made sure everyone went home with a lovely selection of presents.

There were plenty of festive treats too, including mince pies, hot chocolate, and even some delicious chocolate cake 🍰☕ — the perfect way to celebrate together. It truly was a fantastic night enjoyed by all.

📅 Our first session of 2026 will be on Monday 5th January, and we’ll be kicking off the New Year in style with a New Year’s Disco 🎶✨

Bexhill Gateway Club Christmas Cheer! 🎄✨

What a magical evening we’ve had!
Tonight’s session was full of Christmas Carols, mince pies and delicious hot chocolate — the perfect way to get into the festive spirit! ☕🥧🎶

We were thrilled to welcome members of the Bexhill Royal British Legion Band, who joined us to play and sing Christmas Carols. A HUGE thank you to them — we absolutely loved it and the clubhouse was filled with smiles, singing, and festive joy! 🎺🎼❤️

After all that singing, we took a break to enjoy our mince pies and hot chocolate, and it’s safe to say they didn’t last long! 😋

Next week (15th) is our last Gateway Club session of 2025, and we’ve been told a very special visitor will be joining us… 👀🎅

A Wonderful Gateway Christmas Evening! ✨

Tonight we enjoyed our annual Gateway Christmas Meal, and what a lovely evening it was! We were delighted to be joined by our members, carers, families, volunteers and committee for a truly festive gathering at Egerton Park Bowls Club in Bexhill.

Everyone tucked into a delicious Christmas dinner, followed by a choice of Apple Crumble or Christmas Pudding – with plenty of mince pies, chocolates, tea and coffee to round things off. We also held a free raffle, adding even more fun and excitement to the night. It was fantastic to see everyone enjoying the festivities together.

A huge thank you to all who came along and helped make the evening so special. 🎄❤️

And don’t forget… next week at Gateway is our Christmas Carols night – we can’t wait to see you there!

Another Fantastic Arts & Crafts Night at Bexhill Gateway! ✨

Tonight our members got wonderfully creative during this week’s arts and crafts session — making their very own sock puppets! 🧦🧵🎨

We saw some truly fabulous creations come to life, from colourful characters to quirky designs that had everyone smiling. And of course… it wouldn’t be a Gateway session without a bit of cheeky fun! Let’s just say our committee members couldn’t resist sticking a few googly eyes where they definitely didn’t belong — right onto our Secretary’s glasses! 👀😂

A huge well done to everyone who joined in tonight. Your imagination and laughter make these evenings so special.

Spooktacular Fun at Bexhill Gateway Club! 👻🎃

What an amazing evening we had at tonight’s Halloween Gingerbread Decorating session! Our members got seriously creative — crafting spooky pumpkins, mischievous black cats, witches’ hats, ghosts, and more! 🧙‍♀️🕷️

The room was filled with laughter, icing sugar, and a whole lot of Halloween spirit! Even our Club Leader Heidi and Club Secretary Connor joined in on the fun with their own eerie (and tasty!) designs.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a frightfully fun night!

👻 Don’t forget — next Monday (27th October) is our Halloween Disco! 🪩

Come dressed to impress (or to scare!) in your best fancy dress — we can’t wait to see your spooky costumes!
