Regency Dance Club - Sussex

Regency Dance Club - Sussex We teach a variety of dances from the late Georgian (end of 18th century and beginning of 19th century)
+ Regency period (1810-1830) the first Wednesday.

Our first meeting is on Sunday 14th April. Your first class only £5 (Usual price is £10 per person)
No partner is needed. Beginners and experienced dancers welcome. We will be teaching dances from the period 1770 through to about 1820, roughly the lifetime of Jane Austen. There are 3 types of dancing: Country Dances; Cotillions and Quadrilles, all of which we will be covering over the coming year.

Be prepared to be surprised! Obviously we will start off simple and build up, so everyone can enjoy the dancing. It is fun and can be energetic. Remember Coiln Firth in Pride and Prejudice? Why not come along and give it a try!
