Animal artists have hidden 9 colourful paintings around Bexhill Town Centre — and your challenge is to find them, scan the QR codes, solve the riddles and meet each artist in augmented reality!
Perfect for getting outdoors, discovering Bexhill and enjoying something colourful together.
To start your colourful adventure, simply:
🗺️ Find the Paintings: Use the map to hunt for the 9 paintings hidden around Bexhill Town Centre. You can visit them in any order you like!
📱 Scan the Code: When you find one, use your phone’s camera to scan its QR code. This will reveal the artist who painted it!
✨ Meet the Artist: Tap the button to see the animal artist appear in the real world with augmented reality! (For the best magic, please use Safari on an iPhone or Chrome on an Android phone).
🏆 Claim Your Prize: Once you’ve met all 9 artists on the trail, you’ll earn the title “Summertopia Art Critic” and can download your awesome eBook prize!

is looking for female volunteers aged 16+ to support their weekly Girls Group for young people aged 8–13. Come and help with activities such as arts and crafts, cooking, sports and board games. You'll encourage young women to take part, build confidence, develop new skills and be a positive role model in a fun and supportive environment.

Lovely time today at the free craft event held by Community Supporters at the Bexhill Heritage Bandstand. Made a kite and cute 'Litter bug' from recycled materials as well as learning about the impact of litter on the environment.
Why not come along with the kids at the next free event on Wednesday 26th August, 4-5pm at the Bandstand on Bexhill seafront, when they will be be looking at how litter can travel via rivers and seas, doing a litter pick bingo activity, and writing a message in a bottle and there is also the opportunity to enter the free draw for a goodie bag.
