Very happy to announce that as part of their Age Friendly Rother programme are supporting THE BEXHILL TAPESTRY.

A weekend of creativity on the 17th & 18th October at The Living Room . 11-4pm both days, pop in at any point and help us create a giant community tapestry celebrating your memories and stories of Bexhill.

You can sew them, write them, draw them.. we're here to support you throughout and do bring all your family and friends, it's aimed at all ages and is free of charge.

Any questions, let us have them, can't wait to see you.

Friday's session at The Living Room.

MONSTER ZONE

From trolls to monsters, via fairies, phoenixes and bog creatures, MONSTER ZONE is a relaxed creative workshop to inspire fresh creations and experiments.

An inspirational idea or starting point will be set up by illustrator Sam, who will be on hand to guide, but you can use collage, cardboard, clay, paints or plain old pencil and paper to create a monster, creature or a new myth, legend or folklore of your own.

…have some time and space to bring your ideas to life

**Wednesday **

MEET & CREATE (10am-11am) Come and try out a creative activity, have a drink and a chat if you fancy it. For anyone 16+ (£6)

ART ONE (11.30am-1.00pm) for anyone that is being home educated. Create on your own terms, or we can set a brief or we can explore the world of Art History together. For anyone 6+ (£8)

CREATIVE JOURNALLING (1.30pm-3.00pm) explore your world through creativity (£6.50) All ages

FUN WITH YARN, FIBRE ART & TEXTILES. (6-8pm) If you would like to learn to crochet, knit, sew, embroider or experiment with anything textile related then this is a brilliant starting point. (£8.00) All ages

**Friday**

MONSTERS, FOLKLORE & LEGENDS (11.15-12.15) come and illustrate and write, if you fancy your own. Ages 6-14yrs (£6)

CHILDREN's BOOK ILLUSTRATION (1-2.30pm) come and be supported to develop your own style. For anyone 16+ (£9.00)
