MTC Bexhill needs a Unit Officer to help run the unit, and we're hoping to find someone from Bexhill or nearby. The unit runs two weekday evenings a week, 6:30pm to 8:30pm, and the cadets, aged 9 to 17, work on first aid, navigation, fieldcraft and teamwork. You'd be the one leading the session, looking after the group and making sure everyone gets something out of it.

No armed forces or cadet background is needed. Full training is provided, we cover your DBS check and uniform, and you'll have MTC volunteers and support behind you from the start.

It would be great if you could join the unit at weekend training as well, so the cadets get the best out of it.

Not sure it's for you? Come and see a session first, no commitment.

Message me or email [email protected], or share this with someone in Bexhill who'd be good at it.

All volunteers go through an enhanced DBS check.
