Marine Training Corps – Bexhill Unit

We are currently looking for a Sergeant Major 3rd Class (SM3) to join our Bexhill Unit and help lead, develop, and maintain high standards across the team.
🎯 What’s the role?
This is a key senior volunteer position within the unit.
You will:
✔ Support the Unit Leader in running training and activities
✔ Maintain discipline, standards, and professionalism
✔ Lead sessions such as drill, fieldcraft, and practical training
✔ Mentor cadets and junior volunteers
✔ Help shape the culture and direction of the unit
You’ll be a visible leader and role model, setting the standard for others to follow.

Experience in cadet forces, military, or youth organisations is useful — but not essential.

Weekly training nights
Occasional weekends (events, camps, exercises)
