Come along to one of our nights out to see what we are about. Friends, Banter & the odd beer. We get together each fortnight, for everything from go-karting or gliding, brewery tour or a curry night. It may even be something as simple a drink at the pub or a meal somewhere local. These evenings are the lifeblood of Round Table – bringing together groups of friends for a drink and a laugh. Basically we offer you something that four blokes in a pub cannot do.

💙🧡 A HUGE THANK YOU TO BEVERLEY TOWN COUNCIL 💙🧡
We’re incredibly grateful to Beverley Town Council for awarding Beverley Round Table 247 a £1,000 grant to help us purchase 2 x JBL 320 speakers for our new sound system.
This support will make a real difference to what we do, helping us create bigger, better and more engaging experiences at future events, community projects and activities across Beverley.
The new sound system will be a fantastic asset for Beverley Round Table 247, not only for future events in general, but also for something a little more mysterious… 👀
It will play an important part in our top secret December project, which is still very much under wraps. 🤫🎄
Support like this helps local groups like ours continue to grow, do more for the community and bring people together through events, projects and fundraising.
So from all of us at Beverley Round Table 247 — thank you to Beverley Town Council for your support.
We’re looking forward to putting it to very good use.

🍰 NATIONAL BAKING WEEK — BAKE SOMETHING. SHARE SOMETHING. MAKE SOMEONE SMILE. 🍪
This week is National Baking Week, and we couldn’t let it pass without giving a little shout-out to one of our own.
If you’ve spent any time around Beverley Round Table 247, there’s a good chance you’ve experienced one of Andrew’s creations. 👀
Cakes. Cookies. Sweet treats. And somehow, they always seem to disappear remarkably quickly. 😂
Andrew’s passion for baking has become one of those little things that brings something extra to our nights together. It isn’t just about cake — although we certainly aren’t complaining about the cake.
It’s about using something you enjoy to bring a bit of happiness to the people around you.
And that feels very Round Table.
So this National Baking Week, why not give it a go yourself?
🧁 Try a recipe you’ve never made before.
🍪 Recreate an old favourite.
🎂 Get the kids, family or mates involved.
📸 Take a photo of the finished result — successful or otherwise!
❤️ Share some with somebody who could use a little pick-me-up.
You don’t have to be brilliant at it.
The first attempt might look nothing like the picture.
That’s half the fun.

We're thrilled to welcome **Greens the Signmakers** as an official project partner for Beverley Round Table's **TOP SECRET December 2026 adventure!** 🎄

🏭 **WHO ARE GREENS?**

Based in Hull, Greens have been creating signs since 1963. From design and digital print to manufacturing, installation and maintenance, they're experts at turning ambitious ideas into reality.

Which is lucky, because we've presented them with a rather unusual one... 🤫

💙 **MORE THAN A PARTNERSHIP**

Greens are helping transform our secret project from a slightly bonkers Round Table idea into something real. Their time, skill and commitment are making a huge difference.

And this one is extra special: **one of our very own Round Table members is putting an enormous amount of effort into making it happen!**

That's Round Table at its best — members sharing their skills, local businesses backing local people, and everyone pulling together for a good cause.

🌱 **A GREENER FUTURE**

Greens share an ambition that's increasingly important to us: finding smarter, more sustainable ways to do things.

Through their ** ** initiative, they use solar energy in their operations, focus on recycling and repurposing materials, and develop more sustainable signage solutions.

As we explore cleaner power and more sustainable approaches to our community events, it means a lot to work with a business already taking practical action.

This mysterious December adventure has a very real purpose: creating new opportunities to **raise money for local charities, organisations and good causes.**

💛 WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY 💛
Today is a reminder that mental health matters — and that sometimes the people who seem the happiest, busiest or loudest are the ones carrying the most.
Not everything is visible.
Some people will still turn up.
Still smile.
Still laugh.
Still say they’re “fine”.
That doesn’t always mean they are.
At Beverley Round Table 247, we talk a lot about mateship, community and showing up — and days like today are a reminder that showing up for your friends can make more difference than you realise.
A message.
A phone call.
A brew.
A quick “how are you really?”
A check-in when someone goes quiet.
An invitation when they’ve gone off the radar.
These things matter.
You do not need the perfect words.
You do not need all the answers.
You just need to let your mates know they are not on their own.
Because good friends look out for each other — especially when things aren’t obvious on the surface.
So today, and every day, check in with your mates.
Not just the ones who ask for help.
The strong ones too.
The funny ones.
The quiet ones.
The ones who always seem “alright”.
You never know what someone might be carrying.

⚡ A NEW PARTNERSHIP. A GREENER FUTURE. AND A TOP-SECRET CHRISTMAS ADVENTURE… 👀

We’re incredibly excited to officially welcome Zendure as an Official Power Partner of Beverley Round Table 247

Zendure develops intelligent energy storage solutions designed to make renewable energy more practical and accessible — from solar generation and storage to smarter ways of powering everyday life.

And now, they’re helping us power something a little less ordinary…
Our top-secret December 2026 project. 🎄⚡

As part of the partnership, Zendure will be supporting the project with SolarFlow 2400 Pro energy-storage technology and portable solar generation, helping us explore how renewable power can be used in a very different kind of community project.

We’re not revealing exactly what we’re building just yet…
But there may be:

🔎 CASE CLOSED! THE BOYS CRACKED THE CASE… 🕵️‍♂️
Last night Beverley Round Table 247 swapped socials for suspects as we headed to The Game Shack Beverley for The Case of the Silver Bullet murder mystery.
Set in 1905, with a suspicious death, a single silver bullet and a room full of characters who all looked like they had something to hide… our detective skills were put to the test.
There were accusations.
There were dodgy alibis.
There were questionable characters.
There was some very committed dressing up. 😂
And somehow…
🎉 WE ACTUALLY SOLVED IT!
Against all expectations, the murderer was successfully deduced, the case was cracked and one of the lads even walked away with the coveted Best Detective trophy. 🏆
A massive thank you to The Game Shack Beverley for hosting us and putting on such a brilliant evening. It was something completely different, loads of fun and exactly the sort of social we love at Round Table.
Nights like this are why we keep saying it:
You never quite know what you’ll end up doing when you join Round Table.
One week you’re making sausages.
Another you’re solving a murder.
Next week? Who knows… 👀

🕵️ TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT… AND THERE’S BEEN A MURDER. 🔎
Tonight Beverley Round Table 247 are heading to The Game Shack Beverley for a full-on Murder Mystery Night. 👀
Suspects will be questioned.
Alibis will be tested.
Accusations will be thrown around.
And at least one of us will probably look suspicious for absolutely no reason. 😂
