This weeks meeting promises to be a brilliant one. 'Life as a Yorkshire Tenant Farmer' will be presented by Andrew Wilson. One that I’m sure a lot of people won’t want to miss.

The meeting will be held at Bishop Burton College.

We’d love to see as many of you there as possible so please do share with friends and come along. Old or new all are welcome.

CHANGE OF VENUE!

Firstly thank you to LEMKEN and Peacock & Binnington for a brilliant meeting last time. It was a really interesting and a great insight into the company, their history and its product range.

The meeting on February 12th will be George Roache, rescheduled from November. George is a poultry farmer and animal feed business based near York. He will present on his findings of using insect protein in poultry diets, with experience gained on his 2023 Nuffield Scholarship.

PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE.

Due to other bookings at the college, this meeting will be held in the conference room of P H Hall and Son, South Acre Farm, Melbourne, YORK, YO42 4PT. Same timings, 7 for 7.30 start.

Happy New Year everyone!

The next meeting will be held on Thursday 8th January, 19:00 for 19:30 start. A representative from Lemken will be talking about their 240 year history in cultivation machinery and their current portfolio, courtesy of Peacock and Binnington.

The meeting on 12th February will be the rescheduled George Roache presentation on insect protein.

This weeks guest speaker is John McArthur from McArthur Agriculture, a progressive grain drying and handling systems business based in Scunthorpe. McArthur Agriculture are also pioneering the heat treatment of field beans to improve bypass protein and replace soya in some monogastric and ruminant diets.
