August is always such a special month at the flower box and our last day today always for George and all his little friends who George knows who are suffering cancer. This is George story.

In June 2023, George was diagnosed with ATRT, a stage 4 brain tumor. What followed was a grueling few months of treatments—intensive chemotherapy, radiotherapy and major surgery. Though he continues to navigate the difficult and lasting side effects of this medical battle, George refuses to be defined by them. Defying every formidable odd stacked against him, he embraces each day with an extraordinary vibrancy, truly living his best life to the fullest with a massive smile on his face.

Every day 10 children are diagnosed with cancer . 
Thank you to everyone who bought a flowers , confetti , autumn wreaths . The sale of the roses has raised. £615 🤗❤️Thankyou Vicky Ambience East Yorkshire and Qwik Flowers UK for your generosity

4 extra large bouquets and sea of roses wow what treats for Thursday
Beverley radio and radio Humberside have been spreading the word to try to find new homes for all these thousands of roses. Look north came to the shed to take some photographs which will potentially be be on Look North tonight, which will be fantastic awareness for the charities.
Once all these flowers are sold, the Box will close for a week school holiday duties required he to be elsewhere 😊

So today story the red roses have come all the way from Lake Naivasha in Kenya we’re workers on the Flower farms are backed to have fair wages and better working conditions. The sunflowers from Hedon Sandy bottom farm and a collection from M&S and finally a trip to Ann garden for the greenery- all this for one bouquet here for you and raise money for charities
