⚽ U6 FOOTBALL – IMPORTANT UPDATE ⚽
Quick apology from us — our first U6 session was originally advertised for today, but we subsequently moved the start date back by a week and didn’t update the original Facebook post.
We contacted the families who had already been in touch, but unfortunately a couple of people understandably turned up this morning expecting us to be there. Sorry to anyone who made the trip — that one’s on us.
✅ Our U6 sessions WILL now start next Sunday, 20th September
🕙 10:00am
📍 The MUGA, Cannon Park, Berkeley
It’s a free, fun introduction to football, open to boys and girls of all abilities. Just come along, have a play and see what you think.
Please feel free to share this so we can make sure everyone has the correct date.
See you next Sunday! ⚽💙🖤

💙🖤 Kit Sponsorship Opportunity

As we prepare for next season, Severnside Youth FC is looking for local businesses who may be interested in sponsoring one of our team kits.

We're a volunteer-run, FA-affiliated community club supporting children from U6s through to U16s, with a focus on developing young people both on and off the pitch.

Sponsoring a kit is a great way to support local grassroots football while promoting your business within the community. Sponsors' logos appear on team shirts worn throughout league matches, tournaments and club events.

If you own a business, work for a company that supports community projects, or know someone who might be interested, please get in touch.

We're currently looking for sponsors for several teams ahead of the new season.

Please send me a direct message if you'd like more information.

Thank you for supporting local youth football. ⚽️

Lovely to see our U6s progressing well and having SO MUCH FUN this morning with their coach Claire and 2 of our U14s supporting as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award.
It's a super group but we have room for more if you think it looks like fun 😁

Severnside Nuclear is taking part in the Play Safe Weekend!
Play Safe is a year-round campaign that amplifies the importance of safeguarding in football. This year is
all about encouraging adults to create open conversations, ask questions, and actively listen to children.
Everyone. Everywhere. Every Time.
On 27/28 September, we’ll be using our voices to give children theirs. We’ll be taking part in the Play
Safe weekend to support the campaign and show our commitment to always listening, talking and
respecting children in football.
Find out how to keep the game safe here: www.englandfootball.com/playsafe
Small Talk is Bigger Than You Think. Together, we can make the game safe, fun and enjoyable for all.
