🚐 DRIFTING DOWN THE A92 TOWARDS DUNDEE
☕ THE MILL OF BENHOLM CAFÉ
Mill of Benholm Enterprise
Heading south on the A92 between Inverbervie and At Cyrus, I made a stop at the Mill of Benholm.
And if you're travelling this way, it is well worth knowing that there is more here than just a place to stop for a coffee.
The Café at the Mill is located within the historic Mill of Benholm site, a Category A listed water-powered meal mill which dates largely from the 18th century, with alterations and rebuilding in 1817.
The café is run by community volunteers and works with Julieth Patisserie Art to provide patisserie, cakes and biscuits, with ingredients sourced locally and responsibly wherever possible. Sucre Daze also supplies the cakes, cheesecakes, cakes & scones. I had great service from volunteers Donna and Jane

And there is a good reason to support the café.
All proceeds go towards the restoration, upkeep and running costs of the Mill of Benholm, helping to keep the mill, grounds and buildings open to visitors.
📍 FIND IT

The Mill grounds are open to visitors at other times, although some paths remain subject to ongoing restoration work.
So, if you're drifting down the A92 towards Dundee, why not take a wee detour off the road, stretch your legs, explore a fascinating piece of local history and enjoy a coffee and cake while you're there?
That's exactly what we did on our A92 road trip.
