Today marks a special day in history 👑

We are very proud to say, Andrea Fox OBE, founder of The Drop Inn (the organisation that founded node56) and one of our three directors, has in fact met the King 😎🎉

Royalist or not, this is one of our proudest family moments ❤️

Time to dust off the cobwebs, I think it’s time our voices were heard again.

The Drop Inn was held up as a flagship around the Country for the excellent work with young people, and won many prestigious awards for the innovative projects. Throughout the 20 years of the Drop Inn we promoted acceptance of others, whatever their beliefs, faith, gender, race, ability, age etc.... We taught young people to “stand up for what you believe in – even if you stand alone”. We took part in many anti bullying campaigns (Government initiatives) with great success. Bullying was high on the agenda of schools and social settings as it was quite rightly deemed unacceptable. BUT ; The Government is now promoting bullying at all levels and sadly this is coming right down to community, family and schools – friends and family turning on one another. Teachers bullying children, Parents bullying children, Employers bullying employees. This is fuelled by the press and all social media, who censor/remove any positives or alternative views. Please carry on the legacy of the Drop Inn and teach our children that bullying is never acceptable, show them that respect for other peoples choices is the right way to live, every person has the right to make their own decisions – and not be bullied or blackmailed into going along with things they really don’t want to do.

It doesn’t matter if you have had 2 jabs, 1 jab or no jabs, whether you choose to wear a mask nor not wear a mask – whatever your personal decision please respect the decisions of others, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY - PLEASE STAND TOGETHER to fight for all our freedoms and for democracy rather than dictatorship.
