🏥 Have you ever thought about working for the NHS?

If you enjoy keeping busy, staying on your feet and doing a job that genuinely makes a difference behind the scenes, this could be your chance to step into one of the most rewarding NHS Scotland jobs out there.

Our NHS Laundry Routeway is a free 8 day training programme running from the 1st to 10th July, designed for anyone looking for an entry level NHS job that comes with real, recognised training behind it.

The programme includes a range of REHIS courses recognised by NHS Scotland and also modules to build your confidence and feel more prepared going into your interview, so by the time you finish, you'll have the skills and confidence that employers are looking for.

Each day builds on the last which is why full attendance is essential and to take the pressure off, lunch is provided free every day.

If you've been wondering how to apply for an NHS job but didn't know where to begin, this routeway takes care of that and we'll guide you through everything and make sure you're ready to apply. No prior experience needed.

Before the routeway begins, come along to our information session on Thursday 18th June from 9am–1pm at Netherton Community Centre, Wishaw. It's a great chance to find out exactly what the programme involves and ask any questions you might have.

🌟 A massive well done to everyone who completed the STEPS to Excellence programme!

STEPS to Excellence is a little bit different to what most people picture when they think of employability support.

STEPS is a training programme ran by one of our trainers Lesley and It's not about CVs or interview prep, but rather it's about you, how you think, what you believe about yourself and the small habits that shape how your days actually go.

Through the programme, you start to understand what's been getting in your way, start to set goals that actually mean something to you and build better habits not just for work but for life in general.

Because sometimes what's really holding us back isn't a lack of skills, but the way we've been thinking about things.

If that sounds like something that could help you right now, we'd love to hear from you!

This week is Carer's Week and this year's theme of "Building carer friendly communities" is important to us.

There are millions of unpaid carers across the UK, with many who are juggling the demands of caring for a loved one alongside trying to find flexible work, stay connected and look after their own wellbeing too.

It's a lot and it can feel isolating when the support you need isn't easy to find.

At Routes to Work, we know that getting back into employment isn't just about having the right CV or interview skills but it starts with having someone in your corner who gets it and takes the time to understand your situation before anything else.

That's why we work with unpaid carers in North Lanarkshire to offer free, personalised employability support.

Whether you're looking to take your first step back into work, build your confidence, or simply find out what's out there - we're here for you ❤️

We're also proud to work in partnership with organisations like Lanarkshire Carers who provide vital support for carers right here in our community. Building a carer friendly North Lanarkshire takes all of us working together!

If you're an unpaid carer and you'd like to find out how we can support you, you can get in touch with us today 👇

Are you looking for a job where you get to talk to people and help solve problems? If you've been searching for local call centre jobs in North Lanarkshire but aren't sure where to start, we can help — even if you have no previous experience.

Our Call Centre Routeway is one of our free training courses running from 22nd to 26th June, and it's designed specifically for people who want to know how to get a call centre job with no experience holding them back.

Over 5 days of training at the Bentley Hotel in Motherwell, you'll build your confidence and develop the customer service and communication skills that employers are actually looking for. Each session builds on the last, so full attendance is essential and lunch is provided free every day.

This is real, practical employability support — not just a course. At the end of the routeway, you'll have direct links to local job opportunities, so you leave with more than a certificate.

Before the training begins, come along to our information session on Monday 16th June, 10am–12pm at the Bentley Hotel, Motherwell to find out more and ask any questions you might have.
