Come and find us where YOU are in North Lanarkshire. We will be visiting multiple towns and communities in November, so check out where we will be throughout the month ☺️

You don't need to book any appointments and you can come and speak to us if you're needing support, want to see what's out there and start the journey to a positive future.

Throughout November, you can expect to see us in CARFIN, CUMBERNAULD, MOTHERWELL, SHOTTS and more locations too! We also have our new Dad's Peer Group starting on NOVEMBER 11TH in CRAIGNEUK, ideal for fathers who are currently handling the challenges of fatherhood and finding a role that works for them, and could be doing with having a support network around them.

Not sure how to get back into work? Fancy some free training to boost your skills and confidence? Or just want a bit of help finding a job? Whatever stage you're at, pop along for an informal chat. We'll walk you through the support available, talk through your options, and get you registered if you're ready to take that next step.

😱 Getting in touch doesn't have to be scary!

We know that picking up the phone or filling in a form can feel like a big step, especially if it's been a while since you worked or you're not sure where to start.

The thought of a first appointment? That can feel even bigger.

So here's what you can expect when you come to see us at Routes to Work:

✅ We won't rush you into anything you're not comfortable with. Our caseworkers have met lots of people at all different stages of their journey. If you're not ready for a job yet, that's absolutely fine and we can work together to get you to that point, at your own pace.

✅ It's relaxed and your caseworker will take the time to get to know you, your situation and what you've been struggling with.

✅ It's respectful and confidential. Whether it's training, confidence building, job search help or something else entirely, we'll talk it through and put an action plan together with you.

At the end of the day, we're here to help you the best we can, and we have your best interests at heart.

Employers and opportunities will be there on the day, so come along and see what’s available!

📖 Our 2025/26 Annual Report is out now and it’s all about continuing to support the people who come through our doors

Yes, there are some numbers we’re proud of. Almost 2,900 people came to us this year, more than 1,400 moved into work and over 800 achieved accredited qualifications.

But it’s the stories behind them we love most. Inside, you’ll meet people who came to us not knowing where to start. One needed guidance after leaving school, one needed work that fits around her family, and one needed help to build herself back up again. Each had support built around them, at a pace that suited them.

You’ll also see what our clients told us about their experience. 93% of those we surveyed said our colleagues were welcoming, and that’s exactly how we want everyone to feel when they get in touch.

We do have an office in Bellshill (currently under refurbishment) but we also have our Airdrie, Coatbridge and Craigneuk offices, where you can drop in between 9am - 5pm if you would like to get in touch with us. 🙌 Our Lidl Warehouse training routeway is back!

After the success of our first routeway, we’re holding another information session and this is where you can register your interest and find out more about what you will be trained on to prepare you for the job.

FRIDAY 30TH OCTOBER
11AM - 1PM

The training is built around the role at Lidl, so you'll be totally prepared for the role and the job application.

Everyone who completes this training is also GUARANTEED A JOB INTERVIEW! ✅

If you’ve been searching for Lidl jobs, or wondering how to get a warehouse job, this is a great place to begin. A warehouse job with Lidl pays between £13.80 and £19.45 an hour and it’s one of the most popular careers for people looking for warehouse jobs in North Lanarkshire.

To come along, you’ll need to be registered with Routes to Work, aged 18 or over, and living in North Lanarkshire.

Fantastic turn out at our Coatbridge Jobs Fair 🥳

A massive thank you to everyone who came along last Friday to our jobs fair in Coatbridge, from attendees, employers and our colleagues who made the day such a success! The room was buzzing from start to finish and there was a lot of fantastic opportunities available to everyone who visited.

As ever, we are proud to connect local people with fantastic employers, helpful support and great jobs in North Lanarkshire.

When you register with us, there’s no expectation that you must go straight into a job. We’ll meet you where you are and go at a pace that feels right for you.

Here’s some of the support available:

👉 Free training delivered by us and by external providers to help you build your confidence, look after your mental health and learn new skills
👉 Referrals to our specialist partners if you’re dealing with physical health challenges, mental health challenges, money worries and more
👉 Your own caseworker, who’ll take the time to understand your situation and help you put together an action plan at your own pace

🚨 Our jobs fair in Coatbridge is happening TOMORROW!

This is your chance to meet employers who are hiring and explore job opportunities on your doorstep if you're currently job seeking.

The fair will be taking place at the COATBRIDGE COMMUNITY STADIUM (where the bowling club is!) from 12PM - 2:30PM in the CLIFTON SUITE. You can swipe along to see where this is on a map!

You can expect a range of local and national employers from different industries who are currently recruiting across roles suitable for all skills and experience levels. In addition, there will be an opportunity to get some helpful advice from our team on your job search and you can even register to get tailored support here in North Lanarkshire.
