I joined the Art Class last year more of hope than expectation as the last time I did any form of art was way back in my school days!! Nuala, our teacher is full of enthusiasm, patience and encouragement, occasionally subtly challenging you to consider how to make your piece of art better. Suffice to say that out of the 3 paintings I’ve done, 2 are happily framed and hanging in my home … one, my first attempt, will shortly be revisited! I’m no Picasso but it’s a wonderful way to spend 2 hours and even better when you have a lovely piece of art to show for it.
I started going to Nuala's art class last year hoping to have 1 painting of my own to hang in my house. Once I started I was hooked! I'm now proud to have completed 4 paintings.
Nuala is such a talented and inspiring teacher. She takes time to help everyone at their own pace. I look forward to 2 hours every Tuesday night where I can relax, enjoy the craic and continue my new found love of painting.
