Two repair cafes this Saturday - standing by to help you and your broken stuff:

🛠 Repair Café Carryduff at St Ignatius Church Hall, Saintfield Road, 10-12.30pm. No booking needed, just drop in!
🛠 Bangor Repair Cafe NI at St Galls, Carnalea. From 10-12.30, please email to book a repair in!

We just love fixing, and we'll always do our best to help get your beloved items back up and running for you. Sometimes it's not possible - but even then, we can often offer advice about what to do next. And you'll definitely get a nice cuppa, a wee bun and some good chat while you are at it! See you there?

Brendan Mulhall will be a familiar face at many repair cafes, including South Down, Belfast, Whitehead and Bangor as a general and electrical fixer.

82-year-old Brendan is also an avid Park Runner, and has just completed his 75th run raising more than £9,000 for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland - we're so proud of him! His achievement hit the headlines, and the fundraiser is still open if you'd like to chip in. All the details in the comments....

We are super excited that repair cafes are returning to Strabane in September - with a new locally-led group making it happen!

And they would just love you get involved in helping to get this fantastic community project back up and running in the town. Repair Cafes don't just need fixers, but also help with our pop up cafe, making people feel welcome and planning events.

If you'd like to find out more or have questions - we are running a training workshop with the Repair Cafe Strabane team next Thursday, 10 September from 6-8.30pm at The Learning Hub on John Wesley Street and you would be so welcome to come along.

Let us know if you'll be there (so we know how many buns to bake!) either with a comment here or drop us an email. We'd love to see you there! 🛠🎉🧵🚲
